Abstract

This report describes various ways to access ODBC databases from Oberon programs under Oberon V4 for Windows:

  • Module ESQL provides basic access to databases that were built by Oberon programs.
  • Module SQL provides generic access to arbitrary ODBC databases.
  • Module SQLExt provides extensions to the module SQL.

Sample programs show how to use these mechanisms.
Further information about these modules, implementation details, and reasons for design decisions can be found in [Ste96].
